Anyone transporting a load over 5.5m high is required by law to have an electrical escort. We are authorised by both Ergon & Energex to provide electrical escorts throughout QLD. Our drivers also hold a Level 2 Pilot/Escort licence as required by QLD Police.

The route shall be scoped/assessed by a qualified person taking into account the electricity entity’s advice about the network including information in the notification and any safety precautions advised by the electricity entity.
An escort may be required in accordance with the electricity entity’s requirements or depending upon the outcome of scoping/assessment.

Exceeding 5.5m

Notification to the electricity entity is required.
